Abstract
Megalopae of Emerita analoga captured on the central coast of Chile (Coquimbo), are described as complement of the knowledgment of the morphology of the larval development of the species, which have not considered this stage in previous descriptions. The general morphology and structure of megalopa appendices are very similar to that of juveniles of the species, which allow specific identification. Morphological characters, number of segments and setation appendices provide consistent characters for their identification and allow separating them from other megalopae of the genus, despite the great similarity among them.
